  • Self-Help Groups (SHGs): Organizing women into collective groups to manage micro-finances, start small businesses, and access bank loans.

  • Digital Literacy for Caregivers: Distributing smartphones to women who are guardians of persons with disabilities to help them access online government schemes and healthcare records.

  • Social Advocacy: Conducts workshops on gender equality and legal rights to prevent domestic violence and discrimination.

3. Care for the Elderly

Recognizing the isolation often felt by senior citizens, the Sansthan runs dedicated programmes for the aged.

  • Old Age Homes (Brudhalaya): Providing a community living space with access to medical care, yoga classes, and spiritual sessions (bhajans).

  • Home-Based Care: Sending volunteers and caregivers to provide companionship and basic health monitoring for seniors living alone.

  • Advocacy for the Aged: Working with local governments to ensure seniors receive their entitled pensions and medical benefits.

4. Community Welfare & Disaster Relief

The Sansthan acts as a rapid-response unit during times of social or environmental crisis.

  • Seasonal Distribution: Annual drives like “Spreading Warmth,” which distribute thousands of blankets and warm clothing to pavement dwellers during winter.

  • Disaster Response: Providing immediate relief kits (dry rations, hygiene supplies) and medical aid during floods or other natural calamities.

  • Blood Donation Drives: Maintaining a network of “Karyakartas” (volunteers) to facilitate emergency blood donations for local hospitals.

5. Social Awareness & Advocacy

Using its platform to change social mindsets and influence policy.

  • UDID & Niramaya Enrollment: Helping families navigate the complex documentation required to get government disability IDs and health insurance.

  • Public Campaigns: Using street plays, rallies, and media to raise awareness about female foeticide, child labor, and the importance of environmental hygiene (Swachhta).
